Njambi Koikai alias Njahmby Conqueror has fought wars within and without those concerning her well-being and her success in general. She has in the past suffered from Endometriosis which brought her down with a lot of pain.
Despite being unwell, she has risen above the tribulations and stayed afloat through it all. As a new month begins, She chose to share her story as inspiration and a call to support each other in their endeavors.
She said, “Too many people out there going through crazy stuff. A time like this last year, I could not breathe properly. Had a breathing cube to help expand my lungs. Couldnt walk. Had to learn to take baby steps. Couldn't speak. Couldn't eat. Then another surgery happened.”
“Even in the hottest weather, I had to wear a sweater or a heavy jacket. Went through USIU, for my 3rd degree and graduated last year in August. Managed to get through depression, through school and through pain. Help when you can. Life's tragedies are non-partisan. It could happen to anyone. Learn to be nice too and understand people who are going through stuff.
Now don't a turn a blind eye to the people around you. Attend those concerts and support your musician friends. Attend those conferences and support your friends making change. Attend matches. Go watch movies. If not friends then family. Build and build each other. That's how communities grow and people become a family. Don't ignore those posters. Don't ignore those invites. Don't ignore a chance to support and learn. Growth. Do the right thing. Be honest too. Live in love and support others” she added.
