Kalonzo and Wetangula in State House talks to Join Jubilee's Uhuruto
Wiper leader and former VP Kalonzo Musyoka yesterday put his card game on the table and confirmed he is pursuing political deals with the ruling coalition, Jubilee Party.
In his statement last Saturday he said he must be in the next administration. This made it evident he was dumping Raila for Team Uhuruto.
According to the Orion correspondent, Kalonzo was fed up with Raila's greed for power and was ready to work
with President Uhuru and his Deputy.
Kalonzo criticised Raila for failing to include Wiper and Ford Kenya in his Campaign tours, and termed the act of naming Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho as his running mate, as a betrayal.
The former VP also mentioned on the same day that Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula was also uncomfortable with Raila's position and that he would decamp to JP as well.

During his Campaign tours last weekend Wetang’ula confirmed the three top shots were not seeing eye to eye and lately they have not been speaking the same language and they were leaving Opposition.
On Friday Kalonzo issued a contradictory statement after an alleged meeting with Uhuruto at the State House the previous day that everything is fine in the Opposition party and he is not going to leave Cord.
The former VP claimed he was certain he would clinch the nomination to be CORD’s flagbearer. He cleared the air on the State House rumours and said he was with the President and His Deputy sharing a unified front towards a peacefual and fair General Election.
In a statement, Kalonzo Musyoka clarified that media was indeed exagerrating his journey to state house. “When I said I must be in the next government, other people thought I meant Jubilee.
But I meant the government that I shall lead. This cannot and will not be the Jubilee administration,” he said.
The Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka triggered reactions around the country with Jubilee diehards reaffirming that they were ready to work with the former Vice President if he ditched CORD.
In the recent past, Cord has catapulted in the limelight with claims that Odinga has declared Hassan Joho his running mate.in 2017 General Elections However, Hassan Joho has denied that he will be Raila's deputy and confirmed Cord is intact and there is no rift between the three party bosses.
According to The Orion Reporter. Cord’s fallout was fueled by Wetangula’s defamatory remarks about Cord''s former flag bearer Raila during his Ford K campaign rallies across the country.
This caused deep cracks within the CORD coalition leading to mass defection of Cord's political supporter to Jubilee's camp.
Speaking in Vihiga on Friday, Moses Wetangula, the Ford K leader, who is the only elected Senator amongst the three party leaders assured Cord supporters that despite the party’s disagreement, the Opposition still has the winning team in the 2017 General Election and higher chances of clinching the precidency like a jackpot in the promotioncode.co.ke.
He claimed the Opposition has a unity of purpose and its main objective was to topple Jubilee Government out of power.
On Saturday, The Orion Correspondent mentioned that the Western political supporters and business heavyweight are continuously pressing for Moses Wetangula to become Cord's flag bearer and make Amani coalition's leader Musalia Mudavadi his running mate, claiming the two are best fitted to beat Uhuruto.
